Head of Mathematics

As part of our growth, we have reached a point where an existing faculty has been split into two, creating this new role.

Maths is a significant core subject at Level 2 and 3 for our students, and very popular at A Level.  As well as GCSE and A Level, we also teach Functional Skills and Core Maths.  It is of course the bedrock of a great deal of other learning in the field of engineering.  We are looking for an experienced leader and strong mathematician to take on this role.

All candidates will need to have experience of delivering at both Level 2 and 3, and be able to develop schemes of work that will tap into our students’ enthusiasm for their specialisms and provide relevant context. You must possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students and share our single goal of our students leaving as ‘high-performing, work-ready, young people’.

Apply now for interviews as soon as possible and an anticipated job start after Easter 2020.
