As of September 2025, we are proud to launch a new uniform for students at Silverstone UTC – designed in collaboration with some of our Y12 business students!
Y10 & Y11 Uniform Expectations:
- All students must wear a UTC logoed polo shirt in red, blue or white (white may not be ideal for those students studying engineering).
- All students must have a 1/4 zip midlayer in navy or grey (grey may not be ideal for those students studying engineering)
- All students must have a UTC logoed PE sports polo. (new Year 11 may continue to wear their grey PE polo top for PE)
Also available to buy are UTC logoed ½ and full zip jackets – these are both optional items.
**We recognise that parents of existing students have already invested in buying Silverstone UTC uniform items and as such, current Year 10 students moving into Year 11 are not required to adopt the new uniform. They may continue wearing their existing polo shirts and hoodies, but please note that these legacy items will no longer be available to reorder.**
For legwear or footwear, please see below our expectations for all students.
Sixth Form dress code:
• Smart casual top such as a shirt, blouse, collared polo shirt OR any of the UTC logoed tops.
• Any midlayer must be either a plain black hoody, a smart jumper, UTC logoed 1/4 zip midlayer or the legacy UTC logoed black hoody.
