Geography

Geography at Silverstone UTC develops students’ understanding of the world around them and the forces shaping both natural and human environments. The curriculum explores climate and environmental change, urban development, global inequalities, sustainability and resource management. 

Students learn to think critically, analyse data, interpret evidence and develop reasoned solutions to complex real-world challenges.

Geography provides a strong academic foundation while building highly transferable skills. Students gain experience in investigation, fieldwork, research, problem-solving, decision-making and communication. These skills prepare learners for further study and for applying knowledge in practical and professional contexts.
