T-Levels

The T-level Motorsport Engineering course at Silverstone UTC is designed to prepare students for progression into the high-performance motorsport and automotive engineering sector. Located at the heart of UK motorsport, the course develops the technical, practical and professional skills required to succeed in one of the world's most demanding engineering industries.

This programme is ideal for students with a strong interest in motorsport technology, vehicle design, manufacturing and performance engineering who enjoy practical, hands-on learning and real-world industry experience through substantial employer placements. 

Entry Requirements

Minimum Grade 5 GCSE Maths

Minimum Grade 5 GCSE English

GCSE Average Points (Across 8 GCSEs): 5.5*

Students develop a blend of high-level technical ability and essential employability skills, including:

The qualification also provides a strong foundation for higher education, including degrees or apprenticeships in motorsport, mechanical, automotive, or manufacturing engineering. (Although a T-Level CAN provide access to university, it is typically more suited to students wanting to follow an apprenticeship or employment route.)
