Dress Code

Our new uniform has been designed by our own students, taking inspiration from local industries and workplaces. They’ve created something that looks smart, feels comfortable, and reflects the kinds of careers and environments found in our area. It’s a great way to show pride in our school and community.

ALL Footwear/Legwear:

• Smart black jeans or trousers
• Plain matt-black, completely opaque leggings
• Chinos
• Cargo trousers
• Dark black opaque tights with skirts
• Black/brown shoes
• Black trainers
• Safety footwear for engineering
• Plain black smart track pants/shorts for PE/Sport

DO NOT WEAR:​

• Blue jeans
• Shiny black or see-through leggings
• Any other heavily logoed clothing that isn't UTC branding
• Ripped or faded jeans
• Sheer, patterned or fishnet-style tights
• Jersey jogging bottoms or striped/logoed track pants
• White trainers
• Crocs, sliders, open-toed shoes and Ugg-style boots
