Part 2 – Developing Business and Communication Skills

Extended Curriculum

All our tutor groups will have a dedicated community link and they will organise and deliver an event for their community link. This will require liaison and detailed planning.

The core PE lessons are scheduled for 2 hours per fortnight, and promote a healthy and active lifestyle, encouraging participation in lifelong sport and physical activity, while also developing key life skills such as teamwork, communication and discipline.  The UTC has a 5-a-side all-weather pitch, tennis courts, and a netball, hockey and basketball multi-use games area (MUGA).  Students will engage in these and other activities including football and rugby, table tennis, dance and circuit training.

The PSHCE programme will ensure that our students are not only self-aware and very knowledgeable but also recognise the importance of the issues covered to the success of every business, locally, nationally and globally and the basics of personnel management.
